| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar de forma qualitativa a estrutura organizacional e o acervo bibliográfico disponível para a formação dos licenciandos em Ciências Biológicas do campus Ceres. Um curso relativamente é recente, fundado há cerca de 10 anos. A biblioteca universitária tem um papel essencial no processo de ensino aprendizagem dos cursos superiores, sendo um dos principais alicerces de suporte para a produção do conhecimento. Para embasamento da pesquisa foram utilizadas as metodologias de revisão bibliográfica, questionário qualitativo e pesquisa em sites institucionais. Os resultados identificaram que a biblioteca está se adequando às demandas da era da globalização, sendo integrada a um sistema de biblioteca digital. O acervo não é suficiente para atender à demanda e foi verificado que vários títulos estão desatualizados. Também foram identificados anseios quanto a melhoria na qualidade nos serviços de acesso à internet e à estrutura física. |
| Abstract: | This study aimed to evaluate the qualitative form of the organizational structure and the bibliographic collection available for the formation of graduates in Biological Sciences at Ceres campus. A relatively recent course, founded about 10 years ago. The university library plays an essential role in the teaching process of higher education, being one of the main support foundations for the production of knowledge. To support the research, we used methods of literature review, qualitative questionnaire and research on institutional sites. The results identified as a library fit the demands of the age of globalization and are integrated into a digital library system. The collection is not sufficient to meet demand and it has been reported that several titles are out of date. Analyzes were also created on improving the quality of Internet access services and the physical structure |
