ANÁLISE DOCUMENTAL DAS POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS EDUCACIONAIS PREVISTAS NA LEGISLAÇÃO BRASILEIRA VOLTADAS PARA DISCENTES AUTISTAS

Abstract

The text deals with public policies for autistic students, from the perspective of Brazilian legislation. Analyzing the main legislative documents on the subject, such as the Federal Constitution of 1988, the Brazilian Inclusion Law, the Berenice Piana law and the Education Guidelines and Bases Law. This summary aims to describe and analyze the public educational policies present in legislation, aimed at the special education of students with autism spectrum disorder. The methodology used was a qualitative, bibliographic approach, using content analysis techniques. The study universe comprised the public educational policies provided for in the aforementioned laws. The sample was delimited by the main laws on the subject. The study made it possible to clarify that the law makes it possible, through its public policies, for neurodiverse students to access and remain at school, recognizing the diversity of students and the need to offer adequate support to their specific educational needs.
