ANÁLISE DAS MODALIDADES DE ENSINO OFERTADAS NO CURSO DE GESTÃO DA TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMAÇÃO NO INSTITUTO FEDERAL GOIANO DE 2017 A 2022

Abstract

With the advancement of technology and the expansion of the internet, there have been several changes and updates in the teaching-learning process. At Instituto Federal Goiano – Campus Urutaí, on-site courses were offered, in which, in accordance with Resolution n. 051/2015, a course load of up to (20%) twenty percent could be offered in the Distance Learning modality (EaD). However, at the beginning of 2020 with the emergency state of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the offer of (100%) one hundred percent in the Ead modality in all the Institution's courses was passed. The present work aims to carry out the analysis of these teaching modalities offered in the Technology in Information Technology Management (GTI) course at the Instituto Federal Goiano, from 2017 to 2022, in order to investigate and identify the advantages and remain of the use of the modality of EaD in the course in question. For this, a descriptive and critical qualitative approach was carried out, in which the research took place in 4 stages: theoretical foundation, documentary research, data collection through the application of a distributed via Google Forms and finally a reflective critical analysis of the collected data, where it is concluded that through the analysis of the collected data, that the students obtained greater adaptation and considered the most effective learning in the face-to-face modality, using 20% of EaD. Therefore, taking into account that the researched course is in the area of Information Technology, and a positive point was the use of ICTs, that is, there was already a certain familiarity with some of these ferments. Negative points were also identified: impaired learning; loss of physical contact with teachers; difficulties in adapting to the new modality, and all this configures obstacles that somehow compromise the progress of the teaching-learning process. On the other hand, these activities carried out at home office came with the pandemic and in many sectors they were adhered to, including in education, but it is worth affirming the existence of the possibility of offering new courses within the EaD modality, including in the area of informatics, therefore, in the future, this study can be resumed and reapplied in a new reality within the teaching-learning process.
