PRÁTICAS PEDAGÓGICAS PARA A REDUÇÃO DO BULLYING NAS ESCOLAS

Abstract

Bullying is an issue which affects educational institutions around the world, involving students of both sexes, from different backgrounds. The issue is that bullying does not only involve situations regarding to violence, which would already be something serious, but it is something that affects a student's self-esteem, learning and even development, affecting their routines inside and outside the school space and, therefore, it needs to be addressed and treated as a collective problem and not just an issue faced by those who suffer this violence. The interest of this research emerged from this perspective context, which seeks to understand how a teacher can develop pedagogical practices that could help to face bullying. The methodology used in the research was the bibliographic review based on authors such as Souza, Santos and Novaes (2019), Passamani and Galuch (2016), Velleda (2017), among other authors who discuss this issue and allow not only to better understand this problem, but how it is possible to fight it collectively. It can be cited as research results that the pedagogical practices developed at school can corroborate both for bullying to keep being spread, as well as for this problem to be fought and thus need to be developed in order to encourage respect, tolerance, the construction of a democratic space, of healthy interpersonal relationships, fighting against the many forms of prejudice and violence, still seeking family support in the fight against this problem, acting not only in the face of those who suffer bullying, but those who practice it and even those who are only the beholders of such situations, since everyone suffers from the consequences of this process.
