A IMPORTÂNCIA DO ESTÁGIO SUPERVISIONADO NA GRADUAÇÃO: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA

Abstract

The objective was to evaluate the experiences lived in the mandatory Supervised Internship carried out in the Chemistry Degree course. Thus, understanding whether the supervised internship of the higher education course promotes for the academic a coexistence with the different educational realities in schools, and helps in reflection and decision-making in the field of professional practice. The study is qualitative in nature, exploratory and documentary research that allows recourse to materials already prepared. The internships were carried out in two schools called Rivaldo Santana Sampaio Municipal School (Elementary Level) and the Raimundo Santana Amaral Full Time Teaching Center (High School). It was observed that at the Rivaldo Sampaio Municipal School there is the inclusion of the community in school management. In addition, he found that both institutions have good infrastructure, and are a place with a positive school climate. Other aspects observed in the internship concern the difference in behavior between students and classes. Also, about the difficulty that teachers have in motivating students to learn the contents of the disciplines. It was found that the teacher must create a good relationship with the students, as this factor provides for a better learning process. Finally, it was possible to verify that the supervised internship is a means that helps the student to understand the challenges of their profession and provides for the formation of a reflective professional, capable of understanding reality and their role.
