MANIFESTAÇÕES PATOLÓGICAS OCASIONADAS PELA UMIDADE: ESTUDO DE CASO EM EDIFICAÇÕES EM RIO VERDE - GOIÁS

Abstract

The most recurrent problem in buildings, after periods of rain, is the appearance of pathological manifestations such as infiltrations, structural problems, the appearance of molds with fungi and problems with gutters on the roof. The study of pathological manifestations caused by humidity aims to understand the construction system to avoid future problems in the building. In this way, it makes it possible to prevent these manifestations in the building and reduce costs with remedial measures. With the intention of extending the useful life, as buildings must have a good dimensioning, execution of correct project and scheduled maintenance interventions. This work aims to analyze and seek solutions to problems caused by humidity, it consists of identifying flaws in the construction process, diagnosing pathological manifestations and defining preventive or repair measures in three old buildings located in the city of Rio Verde - Goiás.
