ANÁLISE DE SEGURANÇA DE REDES INDUSTRIAIS ETHERNET: UM ESTUDO DE CASO

Abstract

This study aims to identify vulnerabilities and propose countermeasures to improve the security level of an industrial Ethernet network in a large company located in Catalão, Goiás. In this study the vulnerabilities were identified and mapped at both the physical and logical levels of the industrial network. To mitigate the security issues found, several corrective measures were implemented. The main actions included disabling unused switch ports to reduce the attack surface and strengthening network access control mechanisms. In addition, physical security measures were adopted, such as installing padlocks on the panels housing the network switches to restrict unauthorized physical access to the equipment.
