ABORDAGEM DO MUNDO DO TRABALHO NO CURSO TÉCNICO SUBSEQUENTE EM SEGURANÇA DO TRABALHO DO IF GOIANO - CAMPUS RIO VERDE: UMA REVISÃO

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the approach to the world of work in the subsequent technical course in Occupational Safety at IF Goiano – Campus Rio Verde. Through a bibliographic and documentary review, it sought to understand how the principle of work, understood as an educational basis, is incorporated into technical training and pedagogical practices. The paper discusses the role of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) in building critical and emancipated subjects, highlighting the contradictions between training focused exclusively on the labor market and the need for comprehensive education. The results indicate that the course addresses relevant issues related to workers’ health and safety but still faces challenges regarding the effective implementation of integrated and inclusive pedagogical practices, especially concerning the inclusion of People with Disabilities, neurodivergent individuals, and young people deprived of liberty. It is concluded that the adoption of innovative methodological strategies and the valorization of transformative praxis can strengthen the democratic character of EPT, promoting citizenship and social justice.
