A MATERIALIZAÇÃO DA FORMAÇÃO OMNILATERAL NO INSTITUTO FEDERAL GOIANO - CAMPUS TRINDADE: DISCURSOS, DESAFIOS E PROPOSIÇÕES

Abstract

Through Law No. 11,892 of December 29, 2008, the federal government established the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education, thus creating the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology (IFs). The training developed by the institutions that make up this network is in line with the category of omnilateral training, which highlights the role of work training when linked to instruction, since this category seeks not only to analyze the ontology of work in the life of man as a social being, but also to insert the political character in its historical sense. With this in mind, the research questioned how IF Goiano - Campus Trindade teachers understand omnilateral education and how it is realized in their pedagogical practices, revealing the successes and challenges of this materialization. Based on this problem, the general objective is to identify the possibilities, challenges and perspectives for the materialization of omnilateral education in the political-pedagogical practices of the institutional agents of IF Goiano - Campus Trindade. And as specific objectives: To characterize the training profile of the IF Goiano - Trindade Campus teachers selected for the investigation; To identify in the reports/discourses of teachers and managers in the teaching area of the institution investigated the successes, difficulties and challenges evidenced in their political-pedagogical practices; To organize an event in the form of a Symposium with the theme: Teaching Work and Omnilateral Education: a political-pedagogical reflection at IF Goiano - Campus Trindade, as an educational product, with the aim of sharing reflections and concerns raised by the research and contributing to the continuing education of the institution's teachers. The methodology was qualitative research, using interviews and questionnaires as data collection tools. The locus of the research was the IF Goiano Câmpus Trindade. From the analysis of the interviewees' perceptions of teaching work and integrative pedagogical practices, it is possible to infer that they have a view that the teacher has a role beyond transmitting knowledge and that teaching work must articulate reality with knowledge. With regard to omnilateral education, it can be seen that the teachers have knowledge of the subject. In view of the results obtained, the research provided the educational product entitled, "Teaching Work and Omnilateral Training at IF Goiano - Campus Trindade", whose effectiveness was seen in the evaluation carried out by the participants. The Symposium was effective and provided subjects from different places with knowledge on the subject, which demonstrates the need for it to continue, addressing other issues, mainly related to aspects such as pedagogical practices aimed at Omnilateral Education, its articulation with the integrated curriculum and its development in activities that are related to research and extension, so that the subjects involved can improve their pedagogical practices in order to provide the humanization process for EFA students.
