AS CONTRIBUIÇÕES DA ROTINA NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL: UM CAMINHO A SER PERCORRIDO

Abstract

Early Childhood Education is a stage of great importance in a child's life, and the professionals in charge of this process need to be qualified to meet their needs and specificities, and building routines is fundamental for children to develop habits and have experiences that help in their learning and development. Routines must involve care and education situations and are based on the objectives set for this stage of education. Given this context, the objective of this research is to discuss the contributions of routines for children in early childhood education. The methodology used in its preparation was a bibliographic review based on the works of Ribeiro and Batista (2016) and Barbosa (2006) who discuss the theme proposed for this research. One can cite as main results the fact that routines must be flexible proposals, however, in many situations they also need to be universal and standardized, helping the child to learn norms, to have schedules for eating, hygiene, sleep, as well as for activities related to education. These routines help children to have organization, security, as well as to build their autonomy and must be designed and developed by teachers who know the needs and specificities of this audience.
