RESPOSTA AO CONDICIONAMENTO OSMÓTICO EM SEMENTES DE Annona crassiflora MART.

Abstract

This study was carried out to observe the effect of the osmotic conditioning on seed of Annona crassiflora Mart. The embryonic development was compared according to three different concentrations of polyethylene glycol 6000® (osmotic Conditioning), soaking in water and in solution of Gibberellic Acid. The experimental design was completely randomized, with 5 treatments with 5 repetitions being T1: distilled water; T2: solution of gibberellic acid to 2 g L -1 ; T3: Osmotic Conditioning to -1 MPa; T4: Osmotic Conditioning to -1.5 MPa and T5: Osmotic Conditioning to -2 MPa. This study was conducted by 60 days. The osmotic conditioning in A. crassiflora promoted an increase in amount of soaked solution, in the order of 3.9 times. The increase in speed was observed only in the early hours, showing stability in the observed period. There was no radicle protrusion in the period of the experiment.
