ENSINO DE CIÊNCIAS E PESQUISA CIENTIFICA: ÁLBUM EDUCATIVO SOBRE OS PEIXES DO RIO DAS ALMAS, GO

Abstract

It is known that learning becomes easier when knowledge approaches the student and they feel part of the process. The article presents the development of an educational album as a paradidactic material that proposed to connect the content worked in the classroom, on the theme of Fish, with the data collected from a scientific initiation research on the survey of species and eating habits of fish in the Rio das Almas, GO. The material was produced seeking to present auxiliary information to professors that would encourage students to get to know their own environment and, in this way, provide opportunities for contact with the scientific world. The material was vain in a 6th grade class of Elementary School II, with the participation of 30 students who were submitted to the application of an investigative questionnaire, followed by the use of the material for investigation, seeking to analyze the contributions in the worked content, to stimulate the students to the scientific research and to evaluate if the contente and the activities arranged were coherent to the age group of the students. The album was also presented at the XXIII Science and Technology Fair of the IF Goiano Ceres to disseminate the material to the target audience of the event, including teachers, students and the local community. The material was highly approved by the students who carried out the proposed activities with success, as well as high acceptance at the disclosure event, which contributed to the teaching and learning process and also provided the students with the scientific environment, often far from the Brazilian reality.
