Abstract

Distance learning appears, in contemporary society, as a modality of educationcorresponding to new educational and professional demands. Demonstrating the growth inthe use of technology for the world and its scope in the area of education, favoring teacherswith the possibility of professional qualification, through EAD. The interest in the topicwas due to it being the resource used for the training of the academic and author of thisarticle, from there some questions were raised, such as, how does the training process occurand its contributions to the training of trained professionals? Where we sought answers tothis question, from bibliographical references that address distance learning for the trainingof teachers, these being Souza e Silva, Aretio, Alonso, Carvalho, among others, whobrought important reinforcements on the subject.KEYWORDS: Distance Education.
