ENFRENTAMENTOS NA EVOLUÇÃO DA LÍNGUA BRASILEIRA DE SINAIS NA EDUCAÇÃO ESCOLAR: REFLEXÕES PARA A INCLUSÃO DA PESSOA SURDA

Abstract

This article aims to discuss inclusive education, the difficulties and developments in the education of the deaf in its historical and legal aspects in Brazil; and analyze what has been done for the deaf community in the educational field to promote reflections on what can still be improved in the life of this social group. This work is based on a literature review, regarding the subject studied. Thus, the subject studied seeks to analyze the importance of Brazilian Sign Language in the lives of deaf people and its relevance for the inclusion of deaf students in the educational environment, in addition to debating public policies that enable quality school development for students with deafness. and thus motivate them to continue in inclusive institutions. Regarding the difficulties faced by the deaf over the years, the deaf community has been conquering and establishing many rights. This article defends education as a right of all citizens, being the responsibility of the State and the family, and should be given and produced with the help of society, having the perspective of the development of the individual, his capacity for citizen practice and his aptitude for professional practice
