Abstract

Children's Literature enchants people of all ages, through its playfulness. Magic, fantasy, imagination and discovery are some essential elements for the maturation and enrichment of the child's personality; and these elements can be found in literary works aimed at children, but not only in them. Children's Literature can help in the teaching-learning process, as well as arouse a taste for reading, develop the reader's imagination and intellect, enable children to clarify their emotions and make them understand the moment they are going through in your life. The fairy tale is one of the first classical literary forms that the child has contact with, it is a text that can be read in the light of child development psychoanalysis. Thus, this article aims to understand the influ ences of children's narratives on children's development, focusing on the short story "Chapeuzinho Amarelo", by Chico Buarque. It presents as a methodology the bibliographic review, as it takes place through a literature review based on existing works in books, articles and texts from the internet with a great study of the research object, gathering data on the investigated topic, seeking a detailing of the content. with the collection of information that helps to describe the phenomena that the tales cause and collaborate in the development of children. Aiming to prove that childhood is a fundamental phase for the individual to learn to understand how society works and how to live in it, the experiences lived by children serve as a basis for the formation of their personality and their way of living with the world.
