O NOVO ENSINO MÉDIO:PERCEPÇÃO DOS ESTUDANTES DO NONO ANO DAS ESCOLAS PÚBLICAS ESTADUAIS DE BARRA DO GARÇAS-MT.

Abstract

The education that we previously knew as high school and was offered for three subsequent years, at the end of the ninth year of elementary school, from 2022, will change. It will include, concomitantly, professional education. The present work aims to verify if the students of the ninth year of the state public schools of Barra do Garças-MT are interested in this new teaching format, if they want to attend this new model and if they reach that they will learn more from this junction or not. As there was no prior consultation with students on the subject, it is of academic relevance that we know what the main contemplators think about the subject, while the methodology used was qualitative scientific research applied. As for the objective, this is exploratory research with a qualitative approach, with the data collection procedure. The survey of this information was a questionnaire applied in loco with conversations and field diary. The results showed that students know about the change in high school, liked it, but still do not know which vocational courses they will attend. They believe they will be better qualified in this new format, will opt for it, are interested in vocational courses and have the greatest interest in technology and health courses.
