CARACTERIZAÇÃO DO SISTEMA DE PRODUÇÃO DO COMPLEXO DE SOJA NO ESTADO DO MATO GROSSO

Abstract

In Brazil, soy production has been undergoing a continuous movement of migration from the South to the new agricultural frontiers. The Midwest region is responsible for almost half of the national production of soybeans, especially the state of Mato Grosso, which is a reference in the chain of production and export of soybeans. Leading the national production ranking with an estimated volume of 35.947 million tons of grains, in an area equivalent to 10.294 million hectares, showing that the crop production system in the state is paramount and of paramount importance for the country's economy. The present work aims to carry out a bibliographic review on the characterization of the production system of the soy complex in the state of Mato Grosso. Proposing from this, the presentation of a study of the production system of the soybean complex in the state, inquiring about the possibility of expansion and adoption of new technologies to increase soybean production and increase income, with the support of a literary review as a measure of investigation. The present work still had as specific objectives to observe if the state has favorable conditions for the increase of the potential soybean productivity to support investments in infrastructure, aiming at the aggregation of value to soybean grains, thus, it becomes relevant to study the system of crop production at the state level. Thus, the present work was elaborated, applying precepts of exploratory studies, in a qualitative way, which were carried out through bibliographic research, which is defined as a study that is developed from material already prepared, consisting of books and scientific articles published in the last 10 years compared to older publications. The study made it possible to verify that the state of Mato Grosso has favorable conditions for increasing soybean production with the potential to support investments in the infrastructure sector, which allows for the aggregation of value to the grains and more autonomy for the producers, granting a better planning the logistics of harvesting and shipping the soy complex.
