A EDUCAÇÃO DE JOVENS E ADULTOS E UM CURRÍCULO EMANCIPADOR

Abstract

The present work seeks to analyze the emancipatory curriculum in Youth and Adult Education. The study arose from the issue of educating people who did not have the opportunity to study in due time and the problems that such people have to face when returning to the classroom. This research analyzes and reflects on the importance of building curricula that contribute to schooling and the emancipation of the subjects of Youth and Adult Education. The methodology adopted was bibliographic and documentary research. An analysis was made on Paulo Freire's theory of learning from the work Pedagogia da Autonomia and also articles that address the topic. The conclusion reached is that it is necessary to establish humanizing practices in the Youth and Adult Education curriculum, in order to enable the formation of autonomous, conscious, creative subjects, willing to transform themselves and the environment into who live.
