| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a viabilidade econômica do cultivo de mogno africano (Khaya senegalensis) no município de Morrinhos-Goiás, em uma área de dezoito hectares, sendo plantado um hectare por ano com espaçamento 4x4m, totalizando 625 mudas/hectare. Para a avaliação do projeto utilizou-se como indicadores econômicos o Valor Presente Líquido (VPL), Taxa Interna de Retorno (TIR) e Período de Recuperação de Investimento (PAYBACK). O valor médio do custo de implantação por hectare foi de R$ 50.442,78, com período de retorno do investimento de 11,18 anos, podendo variar conforme a execução ou não de cada manejo e aquisição de materiais. Verificou-se que a produção é rentável, com TIR de 23% ao ano e VPL de R$ 953.753,94, sendo satisfatório de acordo com as variáveis avaliadas no trabalho. |
| Abstract: | The present work aimed to evaluate the economic viability of the cultivation of African mahogany (Khaya senegalensis) in the municipality of Morrinhos-Goiás, in an area of eighteen hectares, being planted one hectare per year with 4x4m spacing, totaling 625 seedlings/hectare. For the evaluation of the project, the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Investment Recovery Period (PAYBACK) were used as economic indicators. The average cost of implementation per hectare was R$ 50,442.78, with a payback period of 11.18 years, which may vary according to the execution or not of each management and acquisition of materials. It was found that the production is profitable, with IRR of 23% per year and NPV of R$ 953,753.94, being satisfactory according to the variables evaluated at work. |
