COMUNICAÇÃO EM LIBRAS NA VISÃO DO PROFESSOR DE EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA ESCOLAR: IDENTIFICAÇÃO, ORGANIZAÇÃO DE SINAIS E DESENVOLVIMENTO DE UM GLOSSÁRIO AUDIOVISUAL

Abstract

The study of Communication in LIBRAS in the view of the Physical Education Teacher and the deaf student within the IF GOIANO, in order to identify and organize the signs already covered in the Literature. From this perspective, the main gaps that may occur in the communication process between the Teacher and the Student in the practical classes of School Physical Education were identified. This Research covered the community of Teachers in the area of School Physical Education, within the scope of the IF Goiano’s campi (Campos Belos, Catalão, Ceres, Cristalina, Hidrolândia, Ipameri, Iporá, Morrinhos, Posse, Rio Verde, Trindade and Urutaí). Therefore, we propose that this study includes a mixed research approach (qualitative and quantitative), since to meet the proposed objectives, approaches that quantify and qualify the research results are needed. Additionally, this research is classified as a case study, since it takes into account the universe of physical education teachers, it will be carried out within the scope of the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia Goiano. Data collection was carried out through 01 (one) online questionnaires to teachers, using Google Forms. For the data analysis process the Microsoft Excel will be used. It is expected, after collecting data and analyzing their content, to know more clearly the reality of Communication in LIBRAS between the Physical Education Teacher and the Deaf student within the IF GOIANO. In order to identify the main gaps in the vision of Physical Education Teachers in relation to communication in LIBRAS, which may occur between teachers and deaf students, in high school integrated to technical. In relation to Educational Products (Audiovisual Glossary) that can contribute to the expansion of scientific knowledge in the area, subsidize an effective interaction between the teacher and the Deaf student. Therefore, to facilitate access to this online didactic-pedagogical material, which will help in the process of communication and identification of the main gaps between the Physical Education Teacher and the Deaf student in practical classes. Thus, consequently, it will also contribute to strengthening students' learning and self-esteem. After data collection, analysis and systematization, the Educational Product - the Audiovisual Glossary was created with the 30 terms/signs most highlighted by School Physical Education Teachers, which was later added and made available on the youtube channel Educa Libras para Educação Física Escolar. That will facilitate better and more effective communication in the teaching and learning process. The research results show that the construction of the Audiovisual Glossary aims to organize the signals in the area of Physical Education and, therefore, help Teachers, Interpreters or anyone who seeks to understand words, signals and concepts in communication between the parts involved in this process that occurs in practical classes, and consequently, generating mutual learning. From this perspective, through this inclusive tool, it is possible to interact, understand and establish learning. The Audiovisual Glossary is a consultation tool and will contribute to a better learning experience in practical Physical Education classes.
