IMPORTÂNCIA DA EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL A RESPEITO DO DESCARTE CORRETO DE RESÍDUOS SÓLIDOS NOS ANOS INICIAIS

Abstract

Environmental Education is essential for the preservation of the environment, due to the worsening of the environmental crisis. Teaching children from the early stages of learning makes it possible to raise awareness about the topic. Understanding how the life cycle of products works, the correct destination, and the possibility of recycling and reuse are essential to face the environmental crisis. Thus, the objective of this work is to develop in the students of the initial grades attitudes and awareness about solid waste through contextualized practices for the 5th grade of elementary school. Therefore, a bibliographic review of the contents was carried out using the academic google database and SCIELO, for the construction of the booklet containing five minilessons. With the help of the teacher, the students were able to understand the importance of disposing in the correct place, in addition to knowing how to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, materials such as solid waste, thus preserving the environment.
