CORRELAÇÕES ENTRE AMBIÊNCIA E ADUBAÇÕES FOLIARES PARA DUAS CULTIVARES DE ALFACE

Abstract

Lettuce is the most consumed leafy vegetable in the world and its cultivation in a protected environment reduces the risk caused by environmental factors, with yields enhanced by the use of foliar fertilization. The genotype-environment interaction explored through correlations are little directed in fieldwork, but answer questions related to plant behavior more assertively. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the correlations in leaf fertilization and ambience - different light conditions - in the production of two lettuce cultivars. The experimental design used was randomized blocks and treatments arranged in a 2 x 2 x 5 factorial scheme, corresponding to two lettuce genotypes (I) cv Vanda and cv Lucy Brown, (II) two production environments: presence and absence of 35% shading screen, and (III) five concentrations of liquid fertilizer Ferti Garden via leaf (0, 5, 10, 15 and 20% of the product in the syrup), with 4 repetitions, totaling 20 treatments. The planting system was carried out in beds with organic adduction and manual distribution of seedlings. At the point of collection, the variables were analyzed and the data were submitted to multivariate evaluation using the statistical program R Core Team. The characters presented correlations with each other, thus demonstrating their interdependencies, where the head diameter was the main responsible for the divergence between the treatments. The use of the shade screen provided high adaptability to the cultivation of curly lettuce cv Vanda, where the doses of 5, 10 and 0% of the foliar fertilizer provided better results.
