| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Foram atendidos equídeos de uma propriedade em Caldazinha-GO, acometidos por habronemose cutânea, determinando-se protocolo sistêmico e tópico a base de triclorfon, para o controle de animais já acometidos, e manejo ambiental, para o controle na propriedade, que foi acompanhada por 40 dias. Observou-se a evolução dos sete casos já instalados na propriedade, durante o primeiro atendimento, e o surgimento de 4 casos, concluindo-se que o manejo dos animais doentes foi feito corretamente mas o manejo ambiental foi incorreto, justificando a cura de alguns animais, a oscilação de reposta clínica de alguns e o acometimento de outros anteriormente hígidos. |
| Abstract: | Horses from a farm in Caldazinha-GO, affected by cutaneous habronemosis, were treated, determining a systemic and topical protocol based on trichlorfon, for the control of animals already affected, and environmental management, for the control on the property, which was accompanied by 40 days. It was observed the evolution of the seven cases already installed on the property, during the first visit, and the appearance of 4 cases, concluding that the handling of the sick animals was done correctly but the environmental handling was incorrect, justifying the cure of some animals , the oscillation of the clinical response of some and the involvement of others previously healthy. |
