A PSIMOTRICIDADE NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL

Abstract

The research is based on the study of psychomotricity in early childhood education with the interest of showing its importance for the development of the child and its transition to adult life. Early childhood education is an important phase for learning, in which the child comes into contact with new experiences and discoveries, interacts with the adult, and discovers their abilities, limits and rules. To do so, many schools still tend to stick to teaching only at this stage, not seeking interaction with a student. In this aspect, psychomotricity is fundamental, because it teaches children through play activity to develop, enables psychomotor skills, and allows interaction between them, and shows limits and rules. The research aims to analyze the current problems in Brazilian education, as well as its progress and evolutions in the course of history through the study of articles that deal with the theme. Another aspect is to analyze the importance of LDB for Early Childhood Education, as well as to understand the learning process and to observe in what aspects the use of psychomotricity is necessary, and how schools and their educators can prepare for teaching such as psychomotricity, to the better development of their students with more interaction and motivation.
