O EMPREGO DA EQUOTERAPIA NO TRATAMENTO DO TRANSTORNO DO DEFICIT DE ATENÇÃO E HIPERATIVIDADE (TDAH)

Abstract

Equine therapy is an effective therapeutic and educational method that has numerous benefits in the treatment of children with ADHD, acting in an interdisciplinary way and motivating the development of the individual, stimulating the development of logical thinking, attention, concentration, making one of the biggest problems for the student with ADHD. Encourages the child to reason before acting by developing a whole social contact of the child, transforming a breakthrough especially in the child's learning. Therapy provides for the moment the student comes into communication with the animal. This research aims to know the contributions of hippotherapy to the teaching and learning of children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It also presents the efficiency of motor intervention in a child with ADHD through equine therapy and interaction with the horse, describing the biopsychosocial characteristics; Checks the influence of motor intervention on treatment and motor development, attention / concentration, hyperactivity, relationship and socialization. Some of the most commonly diagnosed disorders in childhood is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), identified by the persistent presence of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. ADHD is related to comorbidities, ranging from disturbances in school performance to problems of psychosocial orders in the individual's life, highlighting changes in motor coordination, intervening in school learning and also in daily activities, perceived in global coordination. The present work was based on the analysis through research, the study of scientific articles, theses and dissertations.
