A IMPORTÂNCIA DA EDUCAÇÃO COOPERATIVA PARA JOVENS: ANÁLISE DO PROGRAMA EDUCACIONAL DE UMA COOPERATIVA DE CRÉDITO

Abstract

This article aims to analyze how the “A União Faz a Vida” program, promoted by the cooperative financial institution Sicredi, contributes to the formation of cooperative and civic attitudes among children and adolescents in the school environment. The research is qualitative and bibliographic in nature, based on the analysis of articles published between 2001 and 2024, in addition to institutional documents on the topic. The study sought to examine different theoretical perspectives on cooperativism, cooperative education and citizenship training, with emphasis on the works of Frantz (2001), Boessio (2013), Almeida and Büttenbender (2018), Souza and Gonçalves (2018), Silva and Oliveira (2021), Calixto and Francisco (2023), Mirandola and Fürkotter (2023) and Abreu et al. al. (2024). From this analysis, it was observed that educational programs based on cooperative values favor the integral development of students, strengthen social relationships and contribute to the construction of a more fair, participatory and supportive society.
