MANUTENÇÃO, PRODUÇÃO E QUALIDADE: A TRÍADE PARA O INSIGHT DO PROCESSO DE EXTRUSÃO DE PLÁSTICOS FLEXÍVEIS

Abstract

This work is based on the experiences of a mandatory curricular internship in a flexible plastic packaging industry of the student Alexandre Antônio José Martins, a bachelor's student in chemical engineering at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology Goiano in Rio Verde, Goiás. Therefore, the objective of this work is to report in experience, with a theoretical basis, the perspective of discussing the activities developed during a supervised internship and identifying the interdisciplinarity involved with the extrusion process in a packaging company in the southwest of the state of Goiás. Since the basis for the production of these are films made of polymeric materials. At the same time, the problem in this study stands out, in the attempt to interpret the impact of the activities carried out during the production stage in the extrusion sector. Adjacent to this, it describes the comprehensive need to identify the fundamental characteristics of polyethylene for the process, report the difference between flat and tubular extrusion, seek to distinguish between the importance of co-extruded and extruded material. Furthermore, it clarifies the contribution of indicators to process knowledge regarding the triad: quality, maintenance and production, as well as the influence of industrial production paradigms with the continuous extrusion process. In short, the methodology of this work brings together research with a basic strategic purpose, descriptive and exploratory objectives with a qualitative approach, but also carried out using bibliographic procedures. Finally, the study is justified in deepening knowledge about extrusion, specifically in production indicators, which is fundamental for those involved in the process and in industrial management.
