DEIXE SUA FÉ EM CASA: EDUCAÇÃO, ESPAÇO ESCOLAR E LAICIDADE

Abstract

In Brazil in 2022, there is a historical dystopia with registered marks on the bodies of the diverse and plural Brazilian people. A certain religious narrative seeks to superimpose a way of believing the hegemonic faith of Christians as unique, true and unquestionable to the detriment of other experiences arising from non-Christian, indigenous and quilombola experiences. Such behavior divides society based on their experiences and experiences of faith, recognizing the first legitimate space for being Christian and historically supported by the Brazilian State, and the second becomes degraded and persecuted for believing differently. Being a diverse and plural people, formed by a great sociocultural, socioeconomic and sociopolitical diversity, the Christian tradition, since the beginning, overlaps as a colonizing force of the founding peoples of this land and of enslaved peoples who were brought here, ignoring their roots and experiences. religions, ways of worshiping, ways of believing and revering their ancestry. The strength of the cross and the sword overlaps these groups. This situation indicates the school space as an environment conducive to religious intolerance, persecution and even acts of violence in the name of God and in defense of the faith. Thus, when a bibliographic review is proposed on the perspective of religious education within the family, the relationship between the domestic space and public environments, the school space and the meaning of secularism in the Federal Constitution, a study carried out in the context of the proposal for continuing education of Post -Graduation Lato Sensu in Education and Teaching at Instituto Federal Goiano, Trindade campus.
