Abstract
This interactive digital book is an original work characterized by being a pedagogical proposal designed for students and theoretically based on a bibliographical research, in which we sought to understand how the geometric thinking of young and adult students develops, with emphasis on on the main challenges faced by the teacher and the school and what possibilities could potentially be explored in order to make the teaching and learning of Spatial Geometry meaningful in Youth and Adult Education (EJA). Faced with the neglect of the teaching of school geometry, the scarcity of pedagogical materials specifically designed for EJA and the lack of meaning that EJA students seem to perceive in the way geometric contents are normally taught at school, we propose to elaborate and make available to the dear EJA student, extending to others who may be interested, a material that helps them understand such important contents, in a way that makes them realize the beauty of Geometry as a primordial science for understanding the world that surrounds us. In this sense, this proposal brings some important guidelines for the study of geometric solids, more specifically aimed at students who did not have the opportunity to deepen in the study of Spatial Geometry, treating these subjects in a light, engaging and easy to understand way, with a language simple and detailed, providing the reader with the necessary conditions for the study, valuing their previous knowledge, respecting their levels of geometric thinking and allowing them to actively participate in the construction of their own knowledge, so that learning is, in fact, meaningful. The essence of this work is a pedagogical proposal with examples of activities in GeoGebra 3D, which the reader can propose to his teacher to explore during classes, if he finds it convenient, and he will still have the rich opportunity to study at home and improve his knowledge, mainly in times in which face-to-face access to school is not so easy, such as the pandemic phase in which our country and the world are momentarily.
