O ENSINO DA MATEMÁTICA NO PRIMEIRO ANO DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL: POSSÍVEIS PREJUÍZOS AO APRENDIZADO DOS ALUNOS PROVOCADOS PELA PANDEMIA DA COVID-19

Abstract

The present research work aimed to analyze the teaching of mathematics in schools in the first year of elementary school during the pandemic period, presenting as problematic the following question: What are the challenges and possibilities found in the process of teaching and learning mathematics during the Pandemic of Covid-19? Taking into account that in this period the schools had suspended face-to-face activities. Thus, teachers, not only teaching mathematics, but also other subjects, had to adapt and reinvent themselves professionally so that the classes held the distances continued and the students remained attentive, interested and motivated, using various resources when accessible, to try to re-create some the damage caused, but not failing to highlight the importance and quality of the classroom classes. This article is a descriptive exploratory study, based on studies developed by education researchers that point directions about teaching processes in the remote modality in educational spaces. The interest in developing the research work arose due to the difficulties that students and teachers visibly perceptible, had to overcome so that the teaching and learning process occurred without much damage, during the period of social isolation. In view of this, further study on the subject is necessary.
