CONTANDO HISTÓRIAS DE GOIÁS A PARATY

Abstract

The Farol Literário Project is in its VIII edition, having as main objective, to encourage those who like literature to produce short stories, portraying art and culture in their stories. The project is coordinated by Pró-Reitoria de Extensão (Proex), through the IF Goiano Art and Culture Center (NAIF) and in partnership Sistema Integrado de Bibliotecas (SIBI). The project has been running since 2013. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition was not held. And in 2021, still under sanitary restrictions, it was carried out in the remote format. In addition to the stories, the edict allowed the writing of poems, with the participation of the community in general, fulfilling one of the primary objectives of the extension: the service to the external public. Another novelty in the VIII edition was the dissemination of the project at the Literary Fair of Vale do São Patrício (FLIVASP), a partnership that will remain in 2022. This e-book comprises the production of the best stories and poems of students, servers and participants of the community outside the IF Goiano, written by authors who have in common the love for literature. Literary production offers experiences that reflect on human and professional formation, and contributes to the development of creativity, the exercise of imagination and the promotion of access to different knowledge.
