dc.description.abstractHistorically, the presence of bitter grass (Digitaria insularis) in commercial crops has been causing damage in several crops, mainly corn and soybeans in cultivated areas in the cerrado. by bitter grass in increasing weed densities, in order to quantify the losses caused by bitter grass. The experimental design used was in randomized blocks, with 4 blocks and 7 treatments characterized by infestation, per square meter, of bitter grass plants: control without infestation, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 plants per square meter, with four repetitions. The height and diameter of the stem of the corn plants at stage V4, V8 and R1 were evaluated, dry matter at flowering, weight of a thousand grains, weight of the ear. The interference hypothesis followed a pattern in which the greater the infestation, the greater the interference in the culture for all the variables analyzedpt_BR
dc.description.resumoHistoricamente a presença de capim amargoso (Digitaria insularis ) nas lavouras comerciais vem causando prejuízo em diversas culturas, principalmente milho e soja nas áreas de cultivo no cerrado, diante do exposto o objetivo deste trabalho foi estudar o comportamento de plantas de milho diante infestação por capim amargoso em densidades crescentes da planta daninha, com intuito de quantificar as perdas causadas pelo capim amargoso. O delineamento experimental usado foi em blocos casualizados, sendo 4 blocos e 7 tratamentos caracterizados pela infestação, por metro quadrado, de plantas de capim amargoso: testemunha sem infestação, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 plantas por metro quadrado, com quatro repetições. Foi avaliada a altura e diâmetro do colmo das plantas de milho no estádio V4, V8 e R1, matéria seca no florescimento, peso de mil grãos, peso da espiga. A hipótese de interferência seguiu um padrão no qual quanto maior a infestação, maior a interferência na cultura para todas as variáveis analisadaspt_BR
