ENSINO REMOTO EM TEMPOS DE ISOLAMENTO SOCIAL: UMA ANÁLISE DA PRODUÇÃO ACADÊMICA NO ENSINO DAS CIÊNCIAS DA NATUREZA

Abstract

Currently, the social isolation measures imposed on account of the COVID-19 pandemic in the national territory forced the closing of schools and prevented activities from being carried out through face-to-face teaching. Thus, the present study carried out an analysis of the academic work developed during the pandemic period, specifically the teaching of natural sciences, in the remote mode. The amount of productions on the subject was verified in order to qualitatively analyze these productions. We used the selection of scientific articles as a methodology to carry out a bibliographic research, taking into account not only the number of works, but also proposing an analysis of the collected material, seeking to understand how this period of pandemic influenced academic production. Searches for articles were carried out in several scientific repositories with the intention of finding a variety of works that made mention of remote teaching of natural sciences, exclusively in the period of the COVID-19 pandemic. The period chosen for the research was from March 2020 to July 2021. During the searches, 241 articles were found and, after defining the scope of the research, we selected 11 articles for a more specific analysis. The results show reports on the difficulties in teaching and learning in the teaching of natural sciences as well as the construction of new learning methodologies, especially with the advent of new technologies.
