ESTUDO DA IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DO SISTEMA DE GESTÃO AMBIENTAL EM UMA OFICINA MECÂNICA NO MUNÍCIPIO DE RIO VERDE – GO

Abstract

Mechanical workshops are enterprises used for mechanical repair of motor vehicles, performing services such as oil change, preventive and corrective maintenance, cooling and hydraulic fluids, replacement and cleaning of parts, engine rectification, electronic injection, painting, suspension bodywork, brakes , engine tuning, alignment and balancing. It can be seen that the activities generated in the mechanical workshops are potentially polluting and must be monitored, reducing any risk of contamination of the soil, water and air. All requirements regarding licensing in the city of Rio Verde were considered, in order to verify that they are meeting all legal environmental requirements. A survey of environmental impacts was carried out, with 74% of the impacts being significant and 47% not significant, with a correlation between the most significant environmental aspects and impacts of greater occurrence, which were the generation of waste and effluents. Mitigating measures were stipulated for these impacts, such as execution of the Solid Waste Management Plan and implementation of rainwater use. In the end, the environmental policy was drawn up to be followed according to all the points found. ISO 14.001 in the planning stage, for small businesses, supports economic and environmental improvement.
