QUÍMICA ORGÂNICA APLICADA ÀS CIÊNCIAS AGRÁRIAS: UMA PROPOSTA DE INTEGRAÇÃO CURRICULAR

Abstract

Simply put, Curriculum Integration is guided by the real problems of the individual's daily life, one of its main points being related to the external aspect of the discipline, that is, the center of interest aims at the problem or, in the case of a higher education course, the exercise of the profession. This study aimed to investigate the importance of the discipline of Organic Chemistry for the course of Bachelor of Agronomy at the Federal Institute of Goiano - Campus Urutaí, to raise possible points of curricular integration for this discipline, and, based on that, to prepare a teaching material for practical classes of Organic Chemistry to this course. The research was carried out from a study with a qualitative approach, in which in the first phase of the project an analysis of the Pedagogical Course Project (PPC) was carried out, and later a questionnaire was prepared and applied to the teachers. From the results achieved, it was verified how Organic Chemistry is seen by professors and students in the Agronomy course. After that, experimental classes with content of Organic Chemistry were developed in order to bring Organic Chemistry students closer to a real situation, thus showing how important a discipline is for professionals in Agricultural Sciences.
