AVALIAÇÃO DO SETOR DE MECANIZAÇÃO DO INSTITUTO FEDERAL GOIANO – CAMPUS URUTAÍ: ESTUDO E PERSPECTIVAS

Abstract

The agricultural machinery shed has the function of storing machines and implements, storing spare parts, performing coupling and adjustment operations, maintenance and cleaning. In addition, the storage location of tractors and farm implements must ensure care to improve the life and correct maintenance of the machines. The objective of this work was to analyze the machine shed and the existing agricultural fleet at the Federal Institute Goiano - Campus Urutaí, taking a current approach of the institution, describing the problems to be overcome. The work consisted of conducting a field research on the premises of the institution's mechanization sector, analyzing the quantity and classification of machines and implements, as well as making the measurements of the dimensions of the warehouses present in this sector. As a result, this work described the agricultural fleet containing a total of 14 tractors and 29 implements, besides the description of its main characteristics. The main problem found in the mechanization sector was the lack of organization of this machinery in correct locations, so it was necessary to make a current layout showing the divisions of existing warehouses and suggesting as a solution to this problem the reorganization of these machines, with a new organization layout.
