dc.description.abstractThe objective was to evaluate the in vitro multiplication of A. aquilega and B. balansae as afunction of combinations of naphthalene acetic acid (ANA) and 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP). The experiment was carried out in a 2x3x4 factorial, with two species of bromeliads (B. balansae and B. aquilega), three levels of ANA (0.0; 0.5 and 1.0 mg.L-1 ) and four levels of BAP (0.0; 1.5; 3.0 and 6.0 mg.L-1), in a completely randomized design, with three replications and six seedlings per experimental unit. Seeds were used to implant the cultures in vitro. After seed germination, in a test tube containing MS medium, with half the concentration of salts, the seedlings were transferred to plastic containers, containing 60 ml of MS medium, supplemented with the proposed ANA and BAP concentrations. The interaction between ANA and BAP influenced only the number of shoots. The interaction between genotypes and BAP influenced the sprouting. The use of cytokinin was decisive for the proliferation of shoots. There was a difference between the bromeliads in terms of sensitivity to the growth regulators studied. A. aquilega showed higher efficiency of sprouting in medium with 5.05 mg.L-1 of BAP, while B. balansae did not reach maximum sprouting with 6.0 mg L-1 BAP. The presence of BAP reduced rooting. There was a difference in the fresh and dry mass of the genotypes. B. balansae had the highest fresh weight. Both species demonstrated ease in the proliferation of shoots, as well as in vitro rooting. It is recommended to use cytokinin for the multiplication of the two species of bromeliads studied and to obtain seedlings with potential for acclimatization, only the MS mediumpt_BR
dc.description.resumoObjetivou-se avaliar a multiplicação in vitro de A. aquilega e B. balansae em função de combinações de ácido naftaleno acético (ANA) e 6-benzilaminopurina (BAP). O experimento foi realizado em fatorial 2x3x4, sendo duas espécies de bromélias (B. balansae e B. aquilega), três níveis de ANA (0,0; 0,5 e 1,0 mg.L-1) e quatro níveis de BAP (0,0; 1,5; 3,0 e 6,0 mg.L- 1 ), em delineamento inteiramente casualizado, com três repetições e seis plântulas por unidade experimental. Utilizou-se sementes para implantação das culturas in vitro. Após a germinação das sementes, em tubo de ensaio contendo meio MS, com a metade da concentração dos sais, as plântulas foram transferidas para recipientes plásticos, contendo 60 ml de meio MS, suplementado com as concentrações de ANA e BAP propostas. A interação entre ANA e BAP influenciou somente o número de brotos. A interação entre genótipos e BAP influenciou a brotação. O uso de citocinina foi determinante para a proliferação de brotos. Observou diferença entre as bromélias quanto a sensibilidade aos reguladores de crescimento estudados. A A. aquilega apresentou maior eficiência de brotação em meio com 5,05 mg.L-1 de BAP, enquanto a B. balansae não atingiu o máximo de brotação com 6,0 mg L-1 BAP. A presença de BAP reduziu o enraizamento. Houve diferença na massa fresca e massa seca dos genótipos. A B. balansae apresentou maior massa fresca. As duas espécies demonstraram facilidade na proliferação de brotos, assim como no enraizamento in vitro. Recomenda-se o uso de citocinina para a multiplicação das duas espécies de bromélias estudadas e para obter plântulas com potencial para aclimatização, somente o meio MS.pt_BR
