dc.description.abstractThe cultivation of broccoli (Brassica oleraceae var. Italica) has stood out in recent years, as a result of the growth in the consumption of healthy foods, and for its high profitability. The fertilization of this crop, as well as in other vegetables, is done mainly with chemical fertilizers, which in the long term tend to damage the soil. Thus, the objective was to evaluate the behavior of Japanese broccoli under different types of fertilizerd. The experiment was carried out at Fazenda Palmital, Faina - Goiás. The experimental design was completely randomized, in a 2x4 factorial scheme, two hybrids of Japanese broccoli (Veratto and BRO 68) and four types of fertilizer, aiming to provide 60 kg ha-1 of No to culture: urea (133 kg ha-1), bovine manure (2608.7 kg ha-1), poultry litter (2727.3 kg ha-1) and equine manure (4286 kg ha-1). The variables evaluated were the inflorescence diameter (cm), fresh inflorescence mass (g) and stem diameter (cm). Superior results were observed in the fresh mass of the inflorescence of the two hybrids when fertilized with avian litter. The poultry litter also provided good results in the inflorescence diameter variable, with urea fertilization being statistically equal. The stem diameter was also favored by organic fertilizers, and in the hybrid Veratto the poultry litter and cattle manure had similar results to urea, and in the hybrid BRO 68 the fertilization with poultry litter and horse manure obtained higher averages. The fertilizers evaluated have potential to replace chemical fertilization with urea to supply N to the plants.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoO cultivo de brócolis (Brassica oleraceae var. italica) tem se destacado nos últimos anos, resultado do crescimento do consumo de alimentos saudáveis, e por sua alta rentabilidade. A adubação dessa cultura, assim como em outras hortaliças, é feita principalmente com adubos químicos, que a longo prazo tendem a prejudicar o solo. Assim, objetivou-se avaliar o comportamento do brócolis japonês sob diferentes tipos de adubação. O experimento foi conduzido na Fazenda Palmital, Faina - Goiás. O delineamento experimental foi inteiramente casualizado, em esquema fatorial 2x4, sendo dois híbridos de brócolis japonês (Veratto e BRO 68) e quatro tipos de adubo, visando fornecer 60 kg ha-1 de N à cultura: ureia (133 kg ha-1), esterco bovino (2.608,7 kg ha-1), cama aviária (2.727,3 kg ha-1) e esterco equino (4.286 kg ha-1). As variáveis avaliadas foram o diâmetro de inflorescência (cm), massa fresca de inflorescência (g) e diâmetro do caule (cm). Foram observados resultados superiores na massa fresca da inflorescência dos dois híbridos quando adubados com cama aviária. A cama aviária também proporcionou bons resultados na variável diâmetro de inflorescência, sendo igual estatisticamente a adubação com ureia. O diâmetro do caule também foi favorecido pelos adubos orgânicos, sendo que no híbrido Veratto a cama aviária e o esterco bovino tiveram resultados semelhantes à ureia, e no híbrido BRO 68 a adubação com cama aviária e esterco equino obtiveram médias superiores. Os adubos avaliados podem substituir a adubação química com ureia para fornecer N às plantas.pt_BR
