A UTILIZAÇÃO DA ALOE VERA (L.) BURM. F. NO PROCESSO DE CICATRIZAÇÃO DA DERME E EPIDERME

Abstract

The use of Aloe vera (L.) Burm. f. in the healing process of the dermis and epidermis. Aloe vera is used in different products in the Brazilian industry and in the world, due to all its benefits, it becomes an attractive to the consumer. In cultures prior to ours, a plant was used as a medicine in the treatment of different skin diseases. The research aimed at an integrative bibliographic review that followed the following stages of execution: determination of the research theme; evaluation criteria for the exclusion and inclusion of literature; extraction and 2 evaluation of relevant information from the literary literature and later the exposition of the review. The following academic research platforms were used: Google Acadêmico and SciELO, and articles in Portuguese and Spanish were selected. Aloe vera has several areas that provide anti-inflammatory action and epithelial tissue regeneration, such as acemanan, mannose and alloin, which directly contributes to these processes. Looking at all the benefits of Aloe vera, from various cultures, it can be concluded that studies on the plant are of paramount importance for scientific development
