A CONSTITUIÇÃO DE UMA CULTURA ESCOLAR NA PERSPECTIVA DEMOCRÁTICA NO INSTITUTO FEDERAL GOIANO

Abstract

According to the LDB (Law 9394/1996) the public institutions that offer Basic Education must be managed based on the principle of Democratic Management, in this sense this research project aims to raise the understanding of the members of the Superior Council. About this perspective of action, as well as to investigate fomentation actions emanating from the practices of the social subjects directly involved in the institution management. The study makes an elementary theoretical discussion about the trajectory of professional education in Brazil, and cuts the following categories for the present analysis: autonomy, professional model in Brazil, presents the discussion about autonomy, participation, the democratic model of management and, finally, the vision of the members of the Superior Council. From the methodological point of view, this is a case study with a qualitative approach. For data collection, the documentary analysis will be adopted (Law 11.892/2018 - Creation of Federal Institutes, Institutional Development Plan, Rules and Institutional Statutes) and application of questionnaires with the Rector and members of the Superior Council of the researched institution. These data will be analyzed in the light of the theoretical foundation that supports PROFEPT. The research results will allow to analyze the process of constitution of a school culture in the democratic perspective, from the practice and understanding manifested by the different representations of the community that make up the IF Goiano.
