Abstract
In light of this work, a literature review was carried out, addressing the main points about digital marketing, with the main focus on paid traffic for local businesses. Bearing in mind the importance of paid traffic, as a fundamental digital marketing strategy for local businesses, in a highly competitive scenario, where important concepts about digital marketing were analyzed, focusing especially on the practices and benefits that, when applying them, companies benefit. With this, it is worth highlighting that digital marketing strategies are of paramount importance, as they directly affect the actions that companies employ, and thus have the objective of taking a theoretical approach to point out the main points and strategies of digital marketing using traffic paid out. Following the strategy that highlights the definition of campaign objectives, precise identification of target audiences related to each company's segment, presenting the importance of monitoring and optimizing campaigns. The significant influence of social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, among others. This new mechanism has been growing and bringing good results to companies, with the aim of attracting customers and boosting the business. Companies must be concerned about ensuring a strong presence on the internet.
