IMPACTOS CAUSADOS NO SOLO PELA APLICAÇÃO DE DEJETOS DE SUÍNOS E PROPOSIÇÃO DE MANEJO ADEQUADO EM UMA GRANJA DE TERMINAÇÃO

Abstract

Intensive swine farming, characterized by the rearing of confined animals, causes the effluents production from the implementation and operation of the farm activity. This activity has been considered potentially causing environmental degradation and is considered as a great polluting potential by the environmental agencies, due to the large number of residues resulting from the farms cleaning and swine manure produced. The use of swine liquid manure in agricultural areas is presented as an attempt of management. The objective of this work was to study the changes caused by soil fertigation of swine manure (DLS) in a swine farm in Rio Verde - GO, based on the interpretations of the elements’ concentration present in the soil and DLS in the resolution. No. 420 of the National Environmental Council (CONAMA) and also by CETESB No. 195/2005, which provides criteria and guiding values for soil and groundwater quality regarding the chemicals presence, and propose the adaptation of used formula by CETESB for the dosage calculation of the vinasse application in soil, norm P 4.231 / 2015, in DLS application in the pasture cultivation considering, the reference element, in order to guarantee the soil correct nutrient cycling and nutrition so minimizing the possible negative impacts from this practice. From the data collected, as well as from the methodological adaptation performed in this work, it was found that the current form used for the DLS management is not the most appropriate, occurring in a disorderly manner and with possible negative impacts on the environment.
