Abstract

The present work aims to analyze the importance of literacy for the learning and development of children in early childhood education. verify the evolution of literacy and literacy, with the purpose of analyzing development within school education. Early childhood is marked by discoveries and challenges and is changing, given that the history of Brazil was marked by capitalism, which influenced illiteracy and deprived academic instruction. In this aspect, the educational institution becomes present in the individual's training in a significant way, opening up a range of possibilities, based on the knowledge acquired. Therefore, the present research was based on bibliographical research to describe some imperfections in early childhood education, due to the lack of training, research and studies in this area, it is little explored. Early childhood education does not provide formal reading and writing instruction for children, but it does provide opportunities to help them begin the process in the early years of elementary school. This is achieved through access to writing and reading in a fun and challenging way. When it comes to literacy and literacy, the focus is not just teaching reading and writing, but also teaching children to use these skills in everyday life. As a result, the classroom should be a literacy environment, with books, newspapers, stories and a variety of materials that help acquire these skills. Children know that representations are everywhere and that they need to adapt and understand how communication occurs. Thus, literacy and literacy are conceived as processes through which children must learn to read, write and interpret. Given the topic presented, considering the entire history covered in this work, it was noted that the educational system still needs and seeks improvements in terms of teaching materials, structure and training courses for teachers. This work highlights the importance of literacy and literacy. For his contribution, articles were read, research was done. It is noted that teaching requires improvement. However, the objective of this study is to analyze literacy and literacy and its importance in learning.
