dc.description.abstractThe present study aims to understand the main contemporary scientific productions in the area of education, which deal with multiple intelligences, proposed by Gardner, with the aim of understanding their applicability in the teaching and learning process. The theoretical contribution is based on publications and research by scholars who investigate the relevance of the theory of multiple intelligences in Brazilian teaching practice. The adoption of multiple intelligences allows us to envisage a differentiated school education, as it recognizes that people are different and have abilities with different configurations, which means that learning can occur in different ways and that each person can learn in their own way and at their own time. The knowledge and adoption of the theory of multiple intelligences by teachers in the classroom opens up new possibilities for knowledge and development, which allows students to expand their skills.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoO presente estudo objetiva conhecer as principais produções científicas contemporâneas, da área da educação, que versam a respeito das inteligências múltiplas, proposta por Gardner, com o desígnio de compreender a sua aplicabilidade no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. O aporte teórico está embasado em publicações e pesquisas de estudiosos que investigam a relevância da teoria das inteligências múltiplas na prática docente brasileira. A adoção das inteligências múltiplas permite vislumbrar uma educação escolar diferenciada, pois nela reconhece que as pessoas são diferentes e possuem habilidades distintas o que configura que a aprendizagem pode ocorrer de forma diversa e que cada um pode aprender do seu jeito e no seu tempo. O conhecimento e adoção da teoria das inteligências múltiplas pelos professores em sala, abrem novas possibilidades de conhecimento e desenvolvimento, o que permite a ampliação das habilidades nos educandos.pt_BR
