LITERATURA NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL: O PAPEL DAS PRÁTICAS DOS PROFESSORES

Abstract

As a theme, this article focuses on recognizing the importance of children's literature and encouraging the formation of the reading habit at the age when all habits begin to be formed, that is, in childhood. In this way, children's literature is a path that leads the child to develop imagination, emotions and feelings, in a pleasant and meaningful way. This study aims to analyze to what extent the use of literary works in teachers' pedagogical practices interferes in the teaching and learning process and in the development of children in early childhood education. This is a bibliographic research, whose results indicate that the teacher has a fundamental role in the use of literary works in early childhood education, and that it is necessary that this reading practice really takes effect with concrete proposals, since early childhood education, who have not appropriated the alphabetic system yet, but are immersed in written culture. Thus, these children can be enchanted and fascinated with the literary world.
