A PSICOMOTRICIDADE NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL: UM ESTUDO DA IMPORTÂNCIA DA MOTRICIDADE, DA MENTE E DA AFETIVIDADE PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO GLOBAL DA CRIANÇA

Abstract

This study is a bibliographic research, with a descriptive approach regarding psychomotricity in early childhood education. Once, in this phase of Basic Education, the games are part of the daily life of the children, in the face of the encompassed stimuli, when playing the child has the possibility of expressing itself in the measure of its development. Therefore, the objectives of this study are to analyze the importance of psychomotricity for the child's development process, to conceptualize psychomotricity based on the literature, to carry out a survey of historical aspects involving psychomotricity and the learning process, as well as to identify the benefits of psychomotricity for child development. Since early childhood is of paramount importance for children's learning, it is in Early Childhood Education that they need to receive the affection, care and stimuli necessary to develop motor and cognitive skills that will be the basis for future learning.
