Abstract

That communication and immediate information exert great power on people, thus facilitating the spread of Fake News. By becoming aware of this, the present study seeks to present some reflections related to them, highlighting aspects that mobilize people of bad nature to produce this kind of news, causing damage in people's lives. Raising questions and possible solutions about the importance of working with children and young people in the final years of elementary school about this kind of news. Looking for relevant facts that show how contemporary society and the students of the final years of elementary school have been affected by it. The main objective was to present reflections about the dissemination of Fake News in Social Networks and its harmful effects on society. The analyses presented important information to continue this study. It is believed that this work will contribute to future studies, helping to combat the spread of Fake News, judging that this fact has been presented before this study as an irresponsible situation, which has been occurring more frequently after the popularization of Social Networks along with the ease of using the digital resources available.
