CONSEQUÊNCIAS NA APRENDIZAGEM DE CRIANÇAS PEQUENAS DEVIDO AO DESLOCAMENTO DA ZONA RURAL PARA A ZONA URBANA

Abstract

The present work is a bibliographic survey, whose objective was to verify the consequences on the learning of Elementary School students, due to the daily school displacement that they face when they leave the rural area to study in schools in the urban area. Considering that, in some rural communities, only Childhood Education offered, and the only way to access education is to travel long distances in rural school transport. However, these children and adolescents face adverse conditions such as having to leave their homes very early to get to school on time, stay in the vehicle for several hours, be transported by scrapped vehicles, pass through roads full of potholes and quagmires, and others, which hinder their school performance, physical and mental health, family life, leisure, right to play, etc. Regarding school performance, it is clear that these factors directly influence due to physical and metal fatigue, as they can trigger problems such as low school attendance, lack of punctuality, failure, unwillingness to spend hours in an uncomfortable vehicle, unavailability of study at home, and even evasion. In oder to minimize these problems, it is essential to offer all grades of Basic Education in rural communities, the regular maintenance of side roads and means of transport etc., so that learning takes place more effectively. Among the authors used in the work Paulo Freire (1982), Gadotti (1996), Geipot(1995), Martins (2010), Santos (2021) and Silva (2011).
