PANORAMA DAS LICENCIATURAS EM QUÍMICA NO IF GOIANO: FORMAÇÃO VOLTADA À COMUNIDADE

Abstract

This study approached the transforming paper of Federal Institutes (FIs) in the regions that are implemented, since as stated in the text they have a purpose and their creation aims to meet the needs of society, in an attempt to supply the lack of manpower. The courses that integrate the curriculum are strictly chosen, but what is implied is whether all this work in the implementation project takes place in the daily lives of the Institutes and overcome barriers of a mixed campus due to the offer of higher education courses as well as technical courses. Therefore, the main objective was to conduct an investigation on the projects that exist within the IF Goiano - Campus Ceres with the purpose of contributing to the improvement of basic education in the São Patrício Valley region. In order to carry out this research, it was necessary to analyze the various existing documents on the creation of the IFs and also on the construction of the curricular matrix of the Chemistry Graduation Degree course, which was the graduation chosen for the analysis, which allowed us to observe how the elaboration of projects happens. of the Institute in partnership with public schools that offer high school in the vicinity of the institution. The results achieved were already predicted since the beginning of the research, that is, the link between these institutions is still almost non-existent, with support at specific times and some cases only in the discipline of mandatory internship, so the need for taper these relations further and thus be able to leverage the teaching-learning process on both sides.
