DIAGNÓSTICO AMBIENTAL EM POSTO DE LAVAGEM DE VEÍCULOS EM RIO VERDE - GOIÁS

Abstract

The intense growth of the municipalities contributes considerably to a greater number of vehicles in the cities, making the establishment of washing stations more and more common, as they provide fast and practical hygiene for cars and other motor vehicles. However, jet-wash projects have great potential with sources of environmental pollution from their activities, requiring environmental licensing processes to minimize the environmental impacts suffered. This work aimed to analyze the applicability of environmental licensing in a jet wash in the municipality of Rio Verde, Goiás. It was observed that the project has some non-conformities: there is no monitoring of water demand; waste management is unsatisfactory, requiring adjustments and improvements in segregation, packaging, storage and final destination; and, the water and oil separator system needs constant monitoring. Alternative proposals were made for the project to comply with current legislation, but for that, collective action will be necessary between employees, owners and also the technical officer for the project, through lectures and other means that it deems necessary.
